The City of DeSoto employs two full-time and one part-time animal control officers who are responsible for patrolling the city and answering all animal-related complaints.

Animal Shelter

When animals are picked up by animal control, they are taken to the Tri-City Animal Shelter.

Things to Know

Chapter Two of the City of DeSoto Code of Ordinances addresses Animal Control issues. Dogs that are impounded in DeSoto are required to be microchipped.
