Statement on Refunds
On January 7, 2020 the City of Desoto adopted a new fee schedule per the House Bill # 852 of the 86th Legislature, put into effect on May 21, 2019. If you have obtained a permit between May 21, 2019 and Jan 7th 2020 you could qualify for a refund. The request should be for new home builds or home renovations. If you have any questions you can contact the Building Official at 972-230-9621. No request will be considered after March 8, 2020. No refund application will be accepted after May 2, 2020.
