How do I get a library card?

Anyone in one of the following categories may have a library card free of charge (with driver’s license and proof of address which includes a rental or lease agreement, voter’s registration card, car insurance, and/or utility bill, etc): 1. Residents or owners of real or personal property in the City of DeSoto, Texas. 2. Employees of the City of DeSoto, Texas. 3. TexShare card holders. 4. DeSoto school teachers. 5. Residents of Cedar Hill and Duncanville. Library cards are available for a fee per household to those not in the above categories. You only need a card to check out materials. Fees are $15.00 for one year.
