The City of DeSoto Health Department only offers environmental health-related services. This includes Food Establishment Inspections, Pool Inspections, Household Hazardous Waste, and pest and mosquito issues. For medical and immunization services, contact your family physician or the Dallas County Health Department.

smoke free ordinance
DeSoto, Texas is a smoke-free community. Every enclosed public place and workplace is required to be smoke-free, as are many key outdoor locations. The DeSoto Smoke-Free Air Ordinance honors individuals' right to breathe clean air. The law helps reduce illness and save lives.
